Christmas Concert A Huge Success

On the evening of December 20th Ethelbert School held its annual Christmas Concert. The event played to a full house with standing room only. The kindergarten class opened the show with the Reindeer Hokey Pokey followed by the Grade 4 to 6 play "Will the Real Santa Claus Stand Up". The Lil Eagles recreated the nativity scene and then showed off their dance skills to Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. An Intermission followed the Lil Eagles class with a special presentation by Don Fyk to the logo contest winners.  The Kindergarten's came back on stage to sing We Wish you a Merry Christmas. Next the grade 7 to 10 students presented the play "The Santa Interviews". Following the play the grade 5 and 6 class played their recorders to two Holiday classics Jolly Old St. Nicholas and Oh Christmas Tree. The play "The Mitten" was performed by the grade 1 and 2 class followed by the grade 3 and 4 students playing their instruments to White Christmas. During the grand finale all the students from K to 6 went on the stage and sang We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Thank you to Ainsley Logan and Kieran Livingston for being the MC's for the evening. Also thank you to the staff of Ethelbert School for organizing and putting on such a fantastic show. A special thank you to Angie Semeniuk for working with the grade 7 to 10 students to help put together their play. Thank you to all who attended the concert and supported the school fundraiser. Have a great holiday break!
